Exporting Files to the VisiMate System

You can export a template or document from the GalaRio™ application

to your stand alone VisiMate™ printer. In addition to exporting

templates and documents from the PC, you can also copy graphics and

text lists to the stand alone machine. For additional information on

copying graphics and text lists from the PC to your VisiMate™ System,

see the

VisiMate™ Specialty Printing System User’s Guide

Note: Depending on the item you are exporting, a message may appear

to warn you that once the template is loaded on the stand alone

system one or more of the objects on the document may not

print. If you wish to continue downloading the item anyway,

click OK. If you wish to end the export process without

downloading the item, click Cancel.

To export a document from the PC

In the GalaRio™ application, select Export from the File menu. The file

is placed in the directory structure for the stand alone machine. For

To export a template from the PC

Note: In order to export a template, you need to have the template

capabilities feature installed on your system. For more

information on installing template capabilities, see

Chapter 2: Installing Application Components.

1. Click Start on the Windows taskbar and then select

Programs|GalaRio 2|GalaRio 2 Template Design.

Hint! If the application icon (shown on the left) appears on your

desktop, you can also start the application by double-clicking the

icon.

2. From the Document Type dialog box (Figure 4-1 on page 4-3), select

Open Saved Document.
