6. Enter the sequence starting point in the Starting value field. You
can enter numbers or single alphabetic character.
7. Enter an amount to increase or decrease the sequence in the
Change by field.
8. To determine the number of outputs in the sequence, do one of the
following:
• Click Ending value and enter the ending point (numbers or a
alphabetic character). The total number of outputs is calculated
and displayed in the Number of outputs field.
• Click Number of documents and enter the total number of
outputs in the sequence. The ending value is calculated and
displayed in the Ending value field.
• Click Unlimited. The application uses another output object,
such as a database query object, to determine the number of
outputs.
9. To enter constant text to precede or follow the sequence, type the
prefix or suffix in the Before sequence and After sequence fields.
10. Click OK to accept the sequence. The first sequence number appears
in the text or bar code object you created.
