Preparing the Printer
Preparing the Printer
Before you begin working in the application, we recommend that you
check the following to be sure that the printer is ready for use:
Be sure that the printer is online and communicating.
Be sure that the desired PosterPrinter™ paper, media, and/or
ribbon are installed in the printer.
Note: If the VisiMate™ printer is online and communicating with your
PC, the application automatically detects the installed media
size, media color, and ribbon color. If you are using a
PosterPrinter™ machine, you will see a white background
behind the poster or banner you are creating.
Launching the Application
Use the following procedure to launch the application.
To launch the application
1. Click Start on the Windows taskbar and then select
Programs|GalaRio 2|GalaRio 2.
Hint! If the application icon, as shown on the left, appears on your
desktop, you can also start the application by double-clicking the
icon.
